Monterey & Santa Cruz

After graduation we moved back to Coloma to work for the summer. Paul and Jenny were so sweet and took us on a little graduation trip to Monterey and Santa Cruz! It was a blast.

Before I talk about the trip, thank you, thank you, thank you Jenny for taking all of these pictures! So glad this trip was well documented :).

We started our trip at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

I hadn't been there in years and it was so fun. Everything was so beautiful!

We spent the night in Carmel and the next day we wandered around the little shops and stopped to take some pictures by the beach

Then we headed over to Santa Cruz. We went to the boardwalk and rode on some of the rides

and walked along the pier and went to see the sea lions.

The next day we went to the beach in the morning and looked at the tide pools. It was so awesome! we saw so many different animals in the little tide pools. We had a blast exploring.

Thanks Paul and Jenny for such a wonderful trip!

LIfe as of Late

I wish I was more consistent about posting. Not that our life is crazy busy and I can't keep up with everything, I just never sit down and take time to post. But playing catch-up is starting to get really old, so here's to hoping I'll be more on top of things from now on. . .

First I will start with one of the most exciting and relieving things that has ever happened to me. I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE. Hallelujah!!!! I had a severe case of senioritis this last school year and was just so ready to be done. The fact that I will never have to go to the testing center again or spend an entire Saturday doing homework in the library has brought me more happiness than I ever would have thought it would. Ok that's an exaggeration. But really. I am SO happy to be done!

My family was able to make the long drive to Rexburg for my graduation. It was so fun to have them in town and I was so happy and grateful that they were able to share this big event in my life with me. Here are a few pictures from the big day!

I'm famous! This picture was in the local newspaper the day after graduation.
With my friends Gina and Stephanie

After the ceremony we headed out to a town called Tetonia and spent the night at our friends' cabin (thanks again Mitch and Amber!). We sat and talked around the fire until we went to bed. Then next day we got up and went for a little walk around the woods. Just another day in Idaho. . .

I'm so grateful that my family was able to come spend some time with us, and that I have now finished the chapter of my life that was college. Can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store!
