My Baby is 6 Months Old

How did this happen??!! I cannot believe it's been 6 months already. It's so weird, I feel like these 6 months have flown by, but it's also weird to think that he hasn't been around longer. It seems like he's always been a part of our family! Trey is such a happy boy. He is always smiling and always wanting to know what's going on around him. He prefers to be facing forward, whether he's in a stroller, carrier, or even the shopping cart (he's always craning his neck to see where we're going).

 

He has really started sitting up solidly by himself for long periods of time, and has also started giving kisses!

 

 

Trey loves holding hands! I usually need to hold both of his hands to get him to fall his asleep. haha

 

 

and speaking of sleeping, he's not doing very much of it lately. He's been waking up around 2 or 3am just feeling chatty, so he'll talk and talk and talk for about an hour, and then he'll fall back asleep, and is still waking up every 3 hours to eat. We're exhausted.

 

Some of Trey's other favorite things are being outside and going on walks, playing with his feet, and hanging out with his dad.

 

 

 

 

We also started solid foods this month and he is not a fan. He gags at everything except for rice cereal. We'll keep trying!

At 6 months Trey weighs 16lbs 10oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. We are so glad he is part of our family and are excited to continue watching him grow!
